Expecting a baby is the most special time in your life. I hope you are enjoying each and every moment. As an experienced professional newborn photographer, I suggest that you schedule your baby session early on in your pregnancy to secure your date. No worries if you deliver early or late since the date can be adjusted after the baby is born.
The best time to do newborn photos is in the first 10 days after birth, but if you have an older baby don’t panic. Just let me know.
I have done newborn-style sessions with older babies before so we can definitely get it done. The only difference is that the baby may not be asleep in all the photos, but at least we will be able to capture those beautiful eyes! 🙂 And there will be also probably more wrapped positions.
Those sessions just need some more time but it’s definitely possible to get good results.
